Damen ("we", "us", "our") is a B2B platform that helps insurance brokers and corporate risk managers operate their day-to-day work using AI. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: name, work email, phone number, company name, role, and profile picture.
  • Authentication data: when you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email, profile picture, language) limited to the scopes you approve.
  • Company & operational data: client records, policies, documents, RFQs, claims, and notes that you or your team upload.
  • Usage data: log files, device information, IP address, and analytics about how you interact with the platform.

2. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Damen platform.
  • Authenticate users and manage team membership and permissions.
  • Send transactional emails (invitations, password resets, alerts).
  • Comply with legal obligations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and applicable jurisdictions.

3. Google user data

When you choose to sign in with Google, we use Google OAuth to verify your identity. We request only basic profile and email scopes. We do not sell or share Google user data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with: (a) sub-processors that host or operate the platform on our behalf under strict confidentiality, (b) members of your own company who have been granted access, and (c) authorities when required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for the period needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, row-level access controls, and role-based permissions. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your credentials confidential.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights or revoke access granted to Damen via your Google account, visit https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

8. Children

Damen is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
